Ethiopian Yirgacheff coffee-
Considered by many to be the finest Ethiopian coffee. This intense feeling coffee enhances the palate with its distinctive floral bouquet, rich body, a pleasingly fragrant aroma, with a smooth mellowness.
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is a washed coffee in which the coffee beans, after having the outer layers of skin and fruity pulp removed, are soaked up to 72 hours in fermentation tanks. Beans treated with this "wet" method will generally have a higher acidity (brightness), a cleaner winey or floral flavor, and more of a full body than the beans processed by the dry method.
Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union-
The Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union is named after the Oromia region in Ethiopia.  Sixty-five percent of the country's coffee production is from this region. Approximately 425,300 households are involved in coffee production.  The coffee in the Oromia region is shade grown and is bird friendly.  All of the coffee is of the Arabica type. Men and women of the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union are the growers, processors and exporters of high quality, organic Arabica coffee. 
The Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union was established in June 1999 to facilitate the direct exportation of coffee produced by Ethiopia's small farmers and assist in marketing, processing and credit issues. The union is comprised of 101 cooperatives, made up of 74,795 members as of 2006. To support this work, OCFCU maintains 48 pulperies, 15 hulleries, and 63 warehouses in growing communities supported by 25 employees. Of the 101 co-ops, 11 of them are fair trade certified by FLO - representing 8963 farmers and 13,905.8 tons of coffee.
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and yet one of the 10 poorest countries in the world.
